So, this may have been a bad idea, but I'm doing it anyway! My mushroom line is my pride and joy. I use Boosted (A Papered) foundation mushroom studs only now and I expect Star/Gold in Gen 3. I am actively competitive in the Mushroom Breeders Club.

WELL...

I have made an incredibly WILD and impulsive decision to start a DOUBLE boosted foundation line! O-O And boy is this not gonna be cheap.

I have broken down the expenses here:

- Boost 5% Clone 1 = 2.5Mil hbs (200IVs)
- Clone Scotch 2nd time = 17.275Mil hbs (1382IVs)
- Boost Clone 2 = 2.5Mil hbs (200IVs)
- GMT Work Clone 1 = ~2.125Mil hbs (170IVs) [17GMTs]
- GMT Work Clone 2 = ~2Mil hbs (160IVs) [16GMTs]

Total in Hbs: 26.6Mil
Total in IVs: 2112
Total GMTs: 33

So basically this line would be 100% hand bred between the 2 double boosted foundations with embryos since putting the stud in pasture with red mares would result in basically all altered foals (the equivalent of breeding a 4th gen A stud to 2nd gen Red mares I believe). The resulting intact offspring would also be hand bred through embryos to get the most foals possible.

How do I intend to fund this project? I have absolutely NO IDEA! :)) My daily bonus is pathetic ever since I redid my whole program a couple years ago. I'm still slowly trying to build it back up. And to top it all off, I also need to buy another 1000 stall barn at a 942IV cost.

The GMTs will be easy to get thanks to the new reward system with the breeders clubs. Everything else is gonna take a while... So wish me luck! If anyone is interested, I will happily share my updates on the forum.

Also keep an eye out on the forum for horses and straws/eggs for sale! I'm gonna need to start fund raising for this :))

I’m interested to see how it works out for you. I just started playing with boosted foundations on bluegrass. I haven’t tried double boosted foundations but am curious

I just made my first boosted foundation ever. He'll be of age next month. I'll be with the others in the corner drooling over your progress.

Ok so Clone 1 got her boost! All she needs is one more gene modification (W10-->Kit M) and then she will be ready to go when she ages up! She also got a name: Moonshine. My boyfriend has been naming my special foundations after alcoholic beverages :))

Update:
I am now at 800IVs out of the 1382IVs needed for the 2nd clone! Man it's gonna take forever to get those 582IVs @-) In hbs, that would be 7.275Mil... I currently am sitting at 350k :)) I am so close I can almost taste it but yet, still so far. Gonna be selling some of my top quality boosted chinchilla foals from this season starting tomorrow to help raise the funds!

@dunbroc double boosting is boosting a horse, cloning it and then boosting the clone. With two 5% boosts that puts the final horse 10% above the original horse.

It’s the only way to get above the paper and pt limit in the game.

Not me hiding in the comments cause now I'm invested in a project that isn't even mine since I need to boost some foals and don't have the funds now (spoiled my SS) now I must watch this unfold cause they're gorgeous

Update: I am only 3Mil away from getting the second clone! I am so hoping to pull it off before the end of the month so I can do the cloning before March (then I only have to wait til April for him to be breedable :D ) I am just waiting on another player to purchase a gmt'd foundation i decided to sell as a fundraiser! I am getting super excited!

My plan of last resort will be to dump 3mil worth of horses into the auction on Sunday if i don't have the hbs by then! My daily bonus will crap out on me but I can rebuild... slowly lol

I've done over a million in auction a couple of times, but 3 mil in auction sounds like you're selling good stuff. Here's hoping you get closer to your goal without doing anything drastic.

I have a buttload of A papered foundation eggs if you're interested in adding new blood. Most are riding ponies or cobs. They're clones from a boosted exceptional mare, so I think just one step under your project. At least one I put a copy of mushroom on. I'd absolutely be interested in trading straws/eggs if you're open to that idea.

@Haltanny Thanks for the offer! I am super picky on what goes into my boosted lines so unfortunately I will pass for now :) Also, my boosted mushroom line is 100% in house only so I won't be parting with any straws, sorry!
