So, boredom, restlessness, and a ton of saved up IVs led to me creating this guy:

Apolune

I'm trying to decide if I'm done fiddling with him, or if I'm going to add something/someone else to him. Current thoughts are to just add het chocolate & TE (I specifically don't want to add Kits or any other white, and really want to let him keep looking pretty plain), or to do a whole nother GMT project & chimera him... if I did that, leaning toward doing a "black" liver with all the other hidden goodies & putting hom chocolate on that... or possibly that with also W8 or W3 or... I don't knooooow.
He doesn't even really go with my current even-breeding group, since I've actively avoided DP (wild bay with hom sooty & no DP is just such a pretty color!), but it will be fun to see the various surprises pop up down the line, so I guess I'm starting a new even-bred group? :-\"

What would y'all do to/with him?

I would add het appy, Tobiano, and Splash. And make him red based. Lol

What a looker! I would add agouti to show off that GP, and some kit genes for that KP--but I like a bit of chrome with the kit genes. I think w3 and w8 would be lovely!

He's glorious as is. While I agree with activating gp and kp just because you can, doesn't mean you have to. He looks good as a chunky black stallion.

It’s always fun to have the hidden stuff that will activate later on his offspring. I’m a big fan of tiger eye, or honestly black splash with blue eyes is another favourite for me. I would definitely be tempted to add a dose of Splash and then Reroll a million times til you got minimal white but blue eyes.

I love the solid black look, and the idea of all the foals having potential to be so flashy! Honestly I’d stack het of every recessive gene in the lab on him. Maybe swap that cream out for pearl, or sno or sun? Tiger eye and het chocolate for sure.

And any chance I could get straws off you when you’re done? He’d tuck some extra shine in my lines very nicely!

Thanks for the thoughts, y'all!
I definitely considered going ahead & adding the genes to show off the shinies, but think I'm sticking with the unassuming exterior with hidden goodies. Deciding that "turn him into a chimera" isn't really what I'm looking for, but I'm definitely going to toss in het chocolate & either het or hom TE... also, probably a good call on switching the cream to pearl (I'd do sun/sno, but they aren't in the "pay with game money" GMT list), given how much I love pearl & how much easier it is to come by cream on foundy mares if I want it in the mix.
Mayyyy also add nd1, since it has such nice expressions. :-?

@Lallyhop I'd be thrilled to send some straws your way, if you want 'em once he ages up! :)

May take nd1 back off, since it originally was verrry drastic

buuut a reroll put him back to looking basically like he did before, so we'll see.

I kind of love the new reroll, he's a gunmetal gray color now and it looks fantastic
