I cloned one of my old favorite stallions and got this boy and then made some changes and with the help of some friends added some new things and completely changed some things.

I lost my Maddie dog a couple days ago and am still quite heartbroken. Im hoping to name this colt to remember her. Problem is Maddie is a girl's name and I'd really prefer that he had a boy's or neutral name. One of Maddie's nicknames was "Mad" or even "mad dog" but he's a horse not a dog.... (Also she was the sweetest darn thing you have ever met guaranteed....) Another one of her nicknames was "matters".

If we can't come up with something good then I used to like to name horse's after weapons.

Instead of "mad dog" you could do a play on words abs so "mad pony".
Personally, I saw him and immediately thought "Northern Lights".

Oh wow sounds like a special puppy!

I had my girl from when I was 10 to 21 1/2! Longest lived boxer we've ever had but of course like all the rest that heart seems to get them (even though she was only a carrier for the heart issue)

I like all of the names you both have suggested so far!

Mm, I do think Mad Dog would still work! Pretty sure it's been a human nickname before so why not a horse nickname? :P

"Nothing Else Matters" would be neat.
I knew of a cat once upon a time that was named Bad Dog, it started out accidentally, but it just stuck lol. So yeah, I'm on the Mad Dog band wagon for a pony as well lol.

I've decided on Mad Matters, because Mad Mattered! :)

In some ways I'm still taking her loss harder than the previous ones. Maybe I'm heartless but my past dogs I was over within a day or two. But since I'm at school she wasn't typically in my life here so I forget about her and then I feel guilty. But then yesterday a dog took after me and my horse barking and I was like "maddie would never do that".... And then I was like oh my gosh... Maddie......
