I bought this mare about a month ago. She has nearly 3,000 points, but her lifetime payout is only just over 9,000 hbs. Compared to a pointed create with ~300 points and a lifetime payout of 10,000-12,000 (and considering she's 19 this month with a daily payout of nearly 300), I think the CLP number is oddly low. I'm not sure if it's a bug or what.

It's because any horse over 17 could die at the end of the month rollover. So their lifetime payout is only calculated until the end of the month. It doesn't mean she will die, but that's how her lifetime payout will look until she does

The logic is nobody knows how long a horse might live past 17 and the lifetime payout is based on what is guaranteed. A horse is guaranteed to earn their lifetime payout in daily bonus. If it was calculated at an older age, you wouldn't be guaranteed because they could die before reaching the age it was calculated at.
