GMT Mistake

I tried to modify a horse to have KP but the gmt came out as question marks. I probably did something really stupid, just wondering what it was?

KP GMT, and a few other show up as questions because they are "hidden" genes. He now carries KP, but you will not see until see it until 1) he has the second gene for it 2) he has two kit genes.

Sorry to bring this back but I've looked at some other horses with GMTed KP and they've appeared as +Kp. Are there only certain horses you can gmt it to?
