Hard at work cleaning stalls i see. who are the new mares hopefully get to see this times seem to wait till I am off doing things keep missing
them by an hour or so

LOL, yep stalls are never ending :D on the left is Miss Priss, middle is Extra, and right is Ellie. None looking too exciting yet but wanted them to get comfy in the barn so they are settled before foaling. Technically not the first ones due but as of right now most promising udder development.

I've stopped watching the giraffe....the number of times I've seen someone say she was calving in the last 3 months is funny lol

Apparently she is due in the next 24hrs but they have been saying that since February lol.
She does look more agitated but if "Sucess" is anything to go by, then April could hold out for another week :))

Im so sick of this giraffe.... :)) I wont even watch because they have been saying she was "ready" for over a month! I deal and see others deal with miniature mares so I know the whole "there are no rules and if there are they dont follow them" thing but thats just ridiculous lol. Theyre also making so much money off of her now.. Theyve got so many people watching, theyve got merchandise now and more and more people going to the zoo. So with all of that and all of the people talking about it and continuing to watch it may be possible that theyre fibbing about her being so close to keep people interested. Sorry for my rant haha Thats just too much frustration for me! I'll watch the recording when the calf finally comes lol

Thanks :D...I have only named success's filly so far as I wanted to tie both parents into it, Maple Hollows Dressed N Cand E (CandE for barn name). The others I'm waiting to see if their personality brings me any great ideas. Ebony's will likely be named after some sort of alcoholic beverage as is her theme (her name is ebony chardonnay lol).

If anyone has free time to check on the girls today I would appreciate it. Extra, the one in middle, is looking close and I'm going to be running back and forth for family events....holidays shouldn't be during foaling season lol

Thanks for watching, all three are over 330 days gestation and the far right is furthest along of the ones on cam but has the least ready signs. Middle one and left one could go just about any time.

She is a buckskin pinto, only color genetically possible from this cross :) she is a Remmy filly, playboy only has a couple, rem has the most this year for mine and Monte had a few. You can see all on my website :) Www.maplehollowhorsefarm.com
