@BlackWyld - do you use mostly red/B paper G2s? That would be why he is so far ahead... I stopped keeping Red/B G2s and have noticed a dramatic increase in paper quality per gen. I believe I've hit "cap" at G8, I have a couple I feel hit "cap" at G7. Curious what these A/Blue boosted foundation lines could do and how quickly... I just dont have any blue foundations to play with yet.

At second gen my studs must be A papered and test AGA a benchmark that is the best that I can tell from my 2nd gen boys. I will keep Red fillies but they must test AGA a lower Blue that I use as my benchmark. (Although I do make the occasional exception for lab babies.)
I do the same thing at 4th gen with my Blues vs Golds. Blue 4th gen mares are only kept if they test AGA a Gold benchmark.

I was slightly more lax in the past and I think that is where I am seeing the discrepancy in my older 3rd gen boys vs these newer boys coming in. I am finding some newer colts that are in that in between place where they test AGA both my original benchmarks and this boy.
I definitely will start working on tightening things up a bit more. :D

I haven't delved into boosted foundations yet. I doubt I will anytime soon. I don't have the daily bonus for that sort of thing yet and prefer to save my boosts for bootstrap projects or extra special lab babies.

I only just hit 5th gen in my lines this past season. Mostly because I am a scatterbrain and have a hard enough time juggling the lines and generations that I have. I hope to make it to higher gens some day.
