Cream is what makes palomino, buckskin, Smokey black, cremello, perlino and Smokey cream. Pearl only expresses with a cream gene or in homozygous form. Cream is noted as Cr and pearl is Prl. Both are relatively common genes to acquire, cream a little more than pearl.
