It's almost the end of this game year

I decided to assess my herd to see how many of my horses are poised on the brink of aging out of the game. Turns out there are 700 currently aged 18 and older! Wow.
Just to comfort myself that not all of them will disappear over the game's rainbow bridge, I'm gloating over the longest running survivor of the bunch, the appropriately named Well Aged Cheddar. Here's that long-lived girl, still pulling in some show points at the age of 36.

After being away from the game for 11 months, I have come back just in time to have a jaw dropping 3264 horses that I could lose at roll over. This is my eldest at 35.

I can't look but some of my boys are proudly 19 and have given me beautiful colts this season. I'm hoping they will get full retirement!
Since my Christmas boy passed last season this gorgeous giveaway from @Cheers is holding top rank in the 20+ Club right now. :)

I have 761 horses up for the lottery this season. Do you know what I could do with that much barn space? And yet... I get memories like this. My oldest at 31, my first snowflake foal.
Show Chain of Sarah
Also of note. This guy is about to turn 20. My darling Joy with all his subtle plaid. PM me for straws.

Looper, Crossed Lines is gorgeous! I hope he makes it to another year.
Seaswell, Brazen Joy is remarkable. May he and Snow Chain continue to delight your eyes for at least another game year.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

3253 horses at risk, but to be fair I have just merged with DinaChill and could do with downsizing a bit!
My oldest at 34:-

I have 2032 horses at risk.
My oldest is this show girl who hasn’t knocked the socks off the judges but is still pulling in some points at 35 years old

My high pointer is this 22 year old 13.7PT with over 5000 points
Elite Addiction 1370
My first ever gen 3 Star stallion is also at risk this year (glad I checked! Going to pull a ton of straws. If anyone wants some, PM me)

My barn is considerably smaller than some of yours, but I have 75 horses at risk this year. The oldest ones were gifts from other players, but I have a few in the 17-18 range that I bred, including my first ever 2nd gen A papered stallion, a very plain chestnut, Simplistic. He was since gelded and at 18 is still pulling in decent show points!

Congratulations, ForestRunners! That's great news.
I lost 181 horses this roll-over, including my grand old lady Well Aged Cheddar.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Oh no, Cheers! I am sorry for everyone's losses. All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.

I lost the cornerstone stallion of my breeding program, Wolfden Dragon. I had a ton of straws pulled at least, but I am still quite sad about it
-
:D Crossed Lines made it another season! :) I lost two mares I loved though :( A boosted King's Ransom, Brego Rohira II, and a boosted Dark Chocolate, Belgian Bliss. Was hoping to get their final season of eggs.

@ Whywishesarehorses. I should have some of his sons and daughters left if you want to pick through my herd at #50695. He was a good one!IAM WolfDen #50695Thanked by 1whywishesarehorses

Sarah made it, but I lost 176 show ponies. I threw off my numbers this season by doing a major cull on breeding stock. My barns look so good half empty.45120

I was so pleased to see Ms Turkey still here when I logged in after rollover. She's 37 this season, and I'm fairly sure she will reach 5000 points held before rollover lol.
Fun fact, there are four 40 year olds on this server!
