-homebred (so no created ones)
-fully tested apart from strict breeding
-warmblood bone type
-a mix of different coats and colours
-will turn into 2yo in a few days

EDIT- all horses that are not sold before next season will be sent to auction. If I could, I would keep them all, but they don't fit into my breeding regime, so they need new homes! A good few high PT and Papers here so they will be especially useful to anyone starting a new herd or wanting to bring in a new element to their herd.

EDIT #2- Updated list. They are going to auction tomorrow morning- Gold Paper horses are still in this jumble and will be wasted if i keep them.

@confluencefarms :)) I didn't really think about it like that - I was thinking there were lots of several types and things that might interest people. But now I'm going to have to find what a group of yearlings is called!!! Who would of thought that a group of hippos is "A bloat of hippopotamuses" :))

Answer: It is alternately called a team, a harras, a rag (for colts), a stud (a group kept primarily for breeding), or a string (a group belonging to or used by one individual).

How about herd or remuda? I use the term herd the most, string second, band 3rd.

Herd is just the general term that encompasses all of the horses that I own, and/or a certain group living together in a paddock or pasture.

String applies more to my working horses (e.g. Kika is on my string of trail horses, or my trail string).

Band is specifically for my broodmares, which I wouldn't refer to as a string, but I would as a herd (e.g. I just added a few spot app to my broodmare band, or my herd of broodmares).

I don't use the term remuda, but I have seen it used fairly often in reference to the production of a breeding ranch. The 4 6's ranch refers to their young stock as remudas.

For a group of production colts, I would use colts, yearlings, 2yr olds, etc. or I would use the term crop to refer to the whole production of a given year (e.g. my 2020 crop is in the south pasture, or my 2yr olds are in the north and west pastures).

I would only use the term team in reference to 2 or more horses that drive or work together as a team, like the Budweiser Clydesdale driving teams, or Amish plow horse teams. If someone advertises a "team," I would expect to see a pair (or more) of horses matched in height, type, and color that are accustomed to working together.
