Players on our FB group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/huntandjump) picked pasture overhauls for the next round of improvements! Here is all the work that has been done.

Removed Features:

You can no longer breed all your pastures at once, just entire barns at a time. All at once was causing hung sessions and confusion because the system could not handle all at once for larger barns.
The old navigation system that pulled horses into the pasture from the pasture page has been removed. This causes problems for larger barns and contributed to hung sessions.

Here is a list of what improvements have been made:

Instead of one email per year for all of your pastures, you will get an email for EACH of your pastures the first time you breed that pasture for the season.
The pasture page now tells you if you will receive an email beforehand.
Pastures will now tell you how many breedable stallions are in the pasture in addition to how many breedable mares.
Pastures can no longer make your account have negative HBs.
Pastures will inform you if you had any foals with lethal conditions.
Pastures will now tell you how many breedable stallions are in the pasture in addition to how many breedable mares.
Pastures will only show you the breed button if you have the money, breedable studs, and breedable mares to do so.
Pasture loading is now asynchronous. The whole page loads first and then it loads in the horses in the pasture one by one. This will help prevent hung sessions.
Horses in pastures will now show their genetic testing results for easier sorting.
Pasture foal display has been massively improved.
Moving horses into and between pastures now works the same as barns with the ability to mass select mares, stallions or foals.
Optimization mode will now hide image thumbnails in pastures to help with bandwidth usage and load speeds.
Moving horses between barns and pastures has had significant speed and stability improvements.

Improvements I am still working on:

I am working to get true auto breeding (without login) back and working. I expect this next week sometime.
The actual action of breeding the pasture still needs to be made asynchronous to help prevent hung sessions. Again I expect this next week sometime.

Pastures have a huge sale going on right now so make sure and stock up to take advantage of all these new updates.

I never had hung sessions and usually moved 30+ in at a time. Now that that feature is gone, I'm going to have to redo all of my barns somehow because I won't know who has been bred and who hasn't. I'm probably going to have to stop some projects too because breeding will take f-o-r-e-v-e-r now that I'll have to search for certain mares and stallions.

(I'll adjust, just grumbling)

I love all these improvements! The email for each pasture is especially going to help with tracking my non-bootstraps who used to get overshadowed by their higher octane stablemates. Thank you!

I'm assuming it's a glitch, but I have 2 pastures saying 102/100 mares in the pasture.

@TwistedArrowEquine that's great that you never had an issue, but there was many who have. I am sure you will be able to figure it out since this is the exact way barns have always worked.

@ElementalStables you will need to post a link and explain where you are seeing this for me to know what to look for. :)

@Ammit - this pasture has 718/100 mares in it....

I have tried to remove them, and I click the button for 'select all' then go down to move them to my 1000 stall barn, and it only removes ~100 at a time.

So somehow the pasture is letting me put WAY more horses in it than is allowed (wasn't intention, I figured it'd do what barns do and just not transfer anyone above the pasture limit), and then won't let me mass remove them out. This has happened with at least 3 of my 100 acre pastures (the allowing more than 100 mares in - the others have 102/100 mares)

It just happened to me too. I moved a handful of 2 year olds to this pasture https://hj2.huntandjump.com/member.php?uid=52098&p_id=38940&sp=y
I accidentally selected the colts as well as the mares, and there they all are. 4 of 2 stallions. I've left them there for you.

@Ammit, all of mine were moving from barn to pasture; I haven't tried pasture to pasture yet.

Thanks! I have a hunch the issue is there and it is reading your primary pasture's size when moving from the barn.

@ElementalStables just letting you know it will let you select all horses at the same time, you just have to wait until the page loads 100% before clicking the check box. It can't select horses that are not loaded at the time of hitting the select all.

I did some more testing this morning and am unable to reproduce this though I know this was an issue before I put the patch out yesterday. I am guessing I may have fixed this already.
