I never have time to go through the Game Alerts list each month, of the horses who have passed away, mostly because I loose several hundred at at time, and it takes forever to go through the list, and I am fussy about keeping alerts/notices for more than a couple of days. So this time, just on a whim, I highlighted the whole Game Alert list, and pasted it to a Word document, and now I can go through it at my leisure! :D It's the little things that make life fun!

So smart!

I wish we could have a number on the Alerts so that after I scroll through and take out any other messages, I'd know exactly how many horses I lost each rollover without counting them. I lose so many each time now that I've just been dismissing them all, but I wish I had that number still. "You have # Game Alerts" above the box or "Dismiss all # Alerts" for the button would be such a useful thing to me.

I've been flagging horses I care about and checking on them in the barns I put them in or through a surviving foal I remember. I wish there was a way to flag specific horses in the game to prioritize alerts. This rollover hurt. :( I lost Belsnickel and Freaky Master Plan and Salty Break. I have straws but was hoping to get another pasture season from them.

I've known it was coming and I've been dreading it just the same. After she wasn't of breeding age, she had a special place in my barns, as she was the oldest and founding mare of my line.

@Justa Just search the page (ctrl+F), and search for "long full life" or any other words that only appear once in each announcement, and it will tell you how many hits you have on the page.

@Justa No problem :x I can't take credit for it though, I think it was Kat (on server1), who told me about it. I know it wasn't me at least :P

@Maribo I actually had someone else PM me the same info just about the same time you posted it. I still feel like an idiot for never thinking of it, regardless of who came up with it first. I've been checking over my writing for years for a few certain words that I have a bad habit of overusing by running find, but it still never dawned on me I could do the same on the game page. :))
