As we rapidly approach another roll over, I thought it would be nice to take a minute to appreciate the show ponies who work hard every week so that we can have nice things.

If you'd like to join in, share your oldest show pony and your highest point holding pony. This is for geldings and spayed mares only. (The intact horses already know they're awesome.)

My oldest show pony is this lad at 27. He didn't level off in a good spot, but I'm sure he tries really hard. He's quite handsome, too!

I love this thread. Here is my oldest boy
at 28 years old, he is doing very well. He also happens to have the most points from my herd, so double toast to him.

Hats off to this ole girl! This lovely liver lady who is 27 years young is both my oldest show horse & my highest pointed show horse. She nets me just shy of 500hbs per day, and is still winning blue ribbons in the show ring even at her age!

Miss Turkey is still kicking butt at 33 years young! She usually comes in 1st-3rd in every show.
Melon has the most points with 4600+, I sure hope they both stick around a while yet!

Those are some great ponies, ya'll! And I loved a lot of their names! I feel like Nose Very Shaved could be friends with InterestedWatermelon. And Mastercard 75 for a high pointed show pony just cracked me up!

Sadly, I lost Scandal in rollover, but Lost Love is still with me for another month. It was funny seeing his current lifetime payout go from 0 to 16,416 overnight.

I was going through my awards for last season and came across this guy. He was gifted to me for a bootstrap programme. He was very successful and gave me some good foals but sadly I didnt have the time and I had to cut out alot of that programme. I had a quick look at his records and i dont think I've ever seen one so successful! What a champ

From my original, first foundation game stock when I was just learning. :-)) :D This boy still has a kick! 4288pts. He's the sort that I get a stomach ache gambling on in rollover. He's still got 12k at auction... but that daily payout if I keep him! :O
