Should he be gelded?

    He papered A with 12 PT
    His dam is Blue papered and 11.2 PT his sire was Star papered 12.1 PT.
    What do you guys think should he be gelded or not because I'd love to keep him.

    Probably should geld him since his paper and PT are lower but you should get everyone's advise before doing it tho

    He's lower quality than sire, but same quality as mum. I would suggest gelding and matching both parents to others of equivalent paper level.

    I agree, you should geld him since he is lower breeding ability than his sire, but he should make a great show horse with that PT.
    Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses. Liver chestnut, DP mushroom, and rose gray riding horses. Dun cobs with all the patterns. Watercolor, Wrong Warp and ice on mixed body types.

    I might end up gelding him I'm not sure yet though because I think I'll wait a little while just to see how he is in showing before I decide he should be gelded because all his tests left him intact. But I really do appreciate your opinions/advise.

    He is technically inferior to his sire being that he papered A and his sire is Star*...therefore that means the lines will not improve in quality if he were to breed. The right thing to do is geld him unfortunately..

    BUT, I know how you feel!!! I can't bear to geld this boy, even though I really should - he passed all testing too.
