So I have this guy that I got for Christmas and he was pretty gorgeous as he was, but because I have so much color and frame in my mares I try to keep my stallions more simple. I've taken off all of the genes that were problematic except the W2. I know I want to remove it, but what should I replace it with? Tobiano, w20, Kit8, nothing? I'm not sure what would show off the Shatterglass the best as well as not be too dangerous to cross with my kit8, kit10, kitw20, kitM, tobi, roan mares.
MLM Of Stars And KingsI breed for Spotted Drafts that could actually be registered in real life. I like them to be Black, Creamy Black, Gray Black, or Grullo and the horse has to have at least a 2inch square patch of white above the knees/hocks and not on the head. I am hoping to get some really unique color combinations. ID# 50732Thanked by 1Looper -
I would do tobiano with shatterglass, that way he'd be safe to breed with all your colorful mares.Thanked by 1Looper

I'd do Tobiano too. That way all your shatter babies get a copy.45120

I made my Shatterglass boy hom Tobiano so all his babies will be able to express the gene if they get it.ID# 30479

I use sb2 when I want a KIT gene but don't want too much white to take over and can cross with everything. But being shatterglass I agree tobiano would be a good choice
