@ShelteredShadows So I went and checked and sure enough you were not assigned anyone to gift to on level 1. I am not sure what happened there. We even have a checker to make sure that doesn't happen. You were assigned someone to gift to you but not anyone to give to.

I will keep you on a list and slot you in if we need too. That sucks. I am so sorry about that!

It's okay; glitches happen. I just wanted to know if I had done something wrong so I could make sure not to do it again. But yes, please let me know if there is anywhere I can help out. I have a lot of time and a lot of game money, so I would love to help out in any way I can.

@Seaswell You can transfer with the exchange, but you also will transfer your liscnese. It will tell you how many copies you own and warn you if you are about to give away your last copy.

So it's been a while since I've purchased a gene for somebody. If we want to get our secret santa recipient a gene for Christmas do we still have to pick their horse and put it on? And also, I know we're not supposed to be giving gifts until the 15th. What if the gene that they want comes up before then

@Jkcstable Ammit created a thing this summer where once the gifting of horses option comes up on the Gift Exchange page on the 15th you can gift foundation horses with closed genes that your recipient doesn't currently own and it will confirm that you are gifting the license and will tell you how many copies of the license you happen to own and to confirm you want to gift the license. So if the gene shows up before gifting opens you will be ok if you add it onto a gift horse for them.

How do you find straws to gift? I've been gifted straws before, but I've never pulled a straw from my own horse and I've never given a straw to anyone. If my giftee is looking for something particular that I don't have, how do I search other people's stallions to find straws? I don't know if that makes any sense. If I can find the right stallion I would love to give straws but I don't know how.

@Drafts26 you can just search for stallions they would like then just message the owner and ask if you can buy straws. If you don't own the licenses for the straws you could ask them to send the straws directly to your giftee on the 15th or after.

I'm out to spoil my recipient, and they have requested a gene which they do not have. I created, GMT's to perfection and put the desired closed gene on this special horse, but will there be any issue in gifting this horse, or how do I go about "buying" the licence for the recipient?

@DoubleMash2 it will transfer to them automatically when you transfer the horse via the exchange.

I guess I should have looked into this a little bit more before I entered from two different stable names. Am I able to use money and horses from my one stable to give to my lesser stable recipient? I really had only planned on doing the under 25,000 with my new free stable. But now I can't imagine just giving that much to my recipient and want them to have an amazing Christmas as well but there's no way I can afford it with just the small amount of horses that I have on my free account . Especially because I have no money on there.

@VioletStables the gift exchange horse transfer sends horses to your recipient completely free of charge. Sending straws or eggs, you do have to put a price of at least 1hb, though. It is possible to send them money to cover the cost as long as both accounts are over 2 months old, using the Pay Another Member feature in the Account and Stable Management section of your stable home page.

@hiddenvfarm you can only move resources between your accounts if they are both premiums. You can send stuff from your main to the secondary account's person though.

If I buy a license gene and put it on one of my creates and then gift it to my ss that doesn't have the gene either, will only my ss get the license or will it stay with me also?

If you transfer your last copy of a gene license you no longer own it.

@Stefliz, if you bought the Gene in the RGS once (not twice) you only have "one copy" of the license. Basically, every foundation horse you own with a certain closed gene counts as a copy of that gene license. Each foundation horse with it that you give to your secret santa counts as you giving up that horse's copy of the license, too.

I am over the moon thrilled at how this exchange is working! I have three presents in my main barn this morning and love how I am able to send mine out!
I would comment though, I wish I could send straws/eggs to my recipient the same way, although I can wait until I reveal :)

Are the names of the breeder of the horses going to be masked like in the summer? I sent a few horses and it looks like the recipient can see that I bred them, which isn't going to take long to realize who the gifter is! :)

Has anyone else not heard anything from their Secret Santa? I have been trying to wait patiently. Not a word. :( I did have a couple of either straws or eggs sent over but I can't remember what the name of the horses were and they just were magically there. and that happens to me sometimes anyways if somebody decides to be nice and send something. I think I may be got three

Because of a glitch I was only assigned one giftee this season, so I have extra time and money. I know it won't be the same, but I definitely don't want anyone left behind after this year. Both my gifters absolutely spoiled me and I'd like to pass on the blessings if that's okay with you and Ammit.

It's ok. I am fine not getting gifts. I had a great time spoiling my giftee. I am only in the 25 and under. So I wasn't even expecting much.
I actually just asked for some fun show stuff. I was kinda excited bc I thought it would be fun and cheap.

I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue but, since the feedback form was added it now has 0 horses sent where it previously showed which horses I received from my ss. Not a huge deal for me as I still have mine marked so I know which ones I got but might be for others?

It also says that I have sent 0 horses to my giftee - which also isn't correct.

@hiddenvfarm Ammit will take care of it. It happens occasionally that someone doesn't do their part and Ammit will ask people from Level 3 to volunteer to send gifts to those that didn't receive.

My SS sent me a pm and said they sent one to ammit. I am glad to hear from them and they apologized for dropping the ball. They did also put shatter glass on a mare of mine. We all can get overwhelmed or have other issues and stuff happens. I. Just glad they said something

One of my gifters gave me 195 horses, all through the gift exchange system. Do I have to list them all in the section that says to list what you received including the horses already listed by the system? If so, it's going to take me a few hours to get them all.

Not sure why it would take a few hours? You can copy and paste the list. That is the strong preference for most people but for THAT many horses you can just write "195 horses" with a summary of what kind of horses.

@Ammit - I must not have had success in doing mine. I know I filled out the form. I'm getting a pop up now on every open page. I click and the redirection is closed. I know I filled out both from my giftee and for my gifter... unsure of how to fix this?
