I’m trying to finally start my memorial horse, but I’m having a hard time figuring out where to even begin.. I’m not sure what base horse color to use for this coloring? Any advice?

I’m thinking of using him tob, splash m whenever I get that license, mayb sb2, and I’m thinking medium wf? Aside from the sb2, does that seem similar to this puppies coat pattern?

I'd say Tobiano and Kit M would probably be your best mix of white spotting genes for that rather than SB2, though SB2 could be good too.

And I'd say with fawn you'd want a chestnut/red base

@Ceffyl thank you! Hopefully it’ll capture her and her spirit right. She unfortunately passed away earlier this year at only 8 months old, and I haven’t been able to shake her since. Still think about her every day

Potentially with the new Tobiano update you only need tobi. Some of the ponies on the Tobiano announcement thread are amazing looking.

Your girl was lovely and losing puppies is always the hardest.

@Cheers that’s what I was thinking as well, I’ve seen a few with kind of similar markings with the circles around. Do you know if there’s a difference between her or hom?

I know there is a difference but I’m not sure what the difference is yet. Since Ammit is still working on the update I’m not sure what we’re seeing now is going to be the final product, and I haven’t taken the time to open a ton of the horses in that thread to see what is hom tobi and what is het and what is chimeric...
