I went through, carefully selected red mares, and used the last two Dark Sun Rising straws in my freezer. I got a colt and a filly, the problem is they are both aga, which is a little lack luster for their sire's legacy. Do you think boosting them would be enough to be enough, or should I just fix them both? I was so excited to get some new Dark Sun prodgeny out there to put their two cents into various legacy projects going on out there.

I got a superior to sire DS Investment colt, and he is drop dead gorgeous! I also got a second draft colt that would also be up for boosting if he is to be used. Might consider boosting both of them anyway because these four foals are the last of my foundation dark star straws. Now to continue going through my straw bank for faces from the past.

Yeah, dunbroc, I will need to work on a couple of these guys to make sure they are proper superior to sires and living up to their potential, and then I will need to talk to any of the breeders of their sires if they are still playing the game and I will probably put up some for breeding somehow. Legacies should belong to the breeders of these magnificent sires or to the public... Though to be honest there is one so far I might steal to my pasture on occasion.

I ran my first batch of mares against my ice 20 boy. I think this one might be my favorite.

@WildlandAcres if you come to thinking about spelding any of your Dark Sun or Weekend Wish foals then I'd love to buy them intact for my legacy project! :) I'll be happy to boost them. I'd love some straws off the Invested foals when they are ready :) :x

She's not from a deceased stallion, but definitely seeing chimera at work with this girl. Her two sets are each sired by my Diamond Age studs two DNA sets, if that makes sense lol. She's the first chimera I've gotten from him so far. I breed him to all my red papered chimeras before he sees any other mares cause I've been waiting and wishing for a chimera from him lol.
