HELP please :(

    I tried to purchase a horse from another player through buddy chat. Any time I tried to click for purchase it comes up with "Associated accounts must both be level 5 to sell horses to one another" (I have no idea what level I am but the other player has made purchases in buddy chat before, so I guess it is me who isn't at level 5.
    We then cancelled the buddy purchase and placed the horse in public auction but still when I try to purchase it, it comes up with the same note and wont allow the purchase.
    What do I do? Please help

    It means that somehow along the way, your accounts became associated. All you have to do is find someone who isn't associated with either of you to be a middle person. :) Can you post a link to the horse?

    You don't have to know them at all. It's all on IP address. For instance if you travel and log into hotel WiFi and someone else comes along later (or before you) and logs in as well you become associates.

    For instance I've never met but am assisted with friesianpaints. As well as 12 other stables I've never met the owners of.
    If your curious about who you are associated with you can go to your main stable page. I'm on mobile so I have to click stable home scroll down and click my name located under the stable customization box. This should take you to your public stable page. Look for the link that says "veiw all stables owned by this member" it will take you to another page. Then scroll down and click another link that says "to see all stables associated with yours" and that's how you see who you are associates with. Whew

    Level 5 means that you have purchased a Premium upgrade. There used to be 5 levels of upgrades, but a while ago it was simplified to just Basic and Premium. There are still a few places where the old term is used.
