After praying and praying that I would be missed by the grim reaper this morning, He/She stopped by and took 51 pointed show ponies which took 8k off my bonus. Okay.. ouch but can live with that.

Scrolled down the names to commiserate and ZENITH, my beloved bootstrap boy, is one of them. Noooooooooooo :((

Try to comfort myself with the fact that I pulled straws and should have plenty for the next few seasons. Right? Riiight? Umm did I remember to pull straws? Go and check. Nope. I did not. I only have 7 straws left. :(( :(( :((

So I am kicking myself now because I should have gone and double checked before last night to make sure I had plenty of straws from my best bootstrap boy since he was on the chopping board. Sigh. At least his bloodlines will live on through his amazing daughters who have formed the core of my BS program but man... losing Zenith without having plenty of straws in the freezer is going to sting for a while.

Who did you lose that is going to leave a mark in terms of legacy or points?

I lost 164 outta 321. Over half. I haven't even checked my show bonus yet I'm scared to lol.
On the bright side, mu eldest mare has now made it to 28!
Edit to add- Show bonus took a 27k chop, ouchie.

I don't know how many I lost but my show bonus is down by over 100k! Wow - never had that much drop before.

I just barely hit 300k in show bonus and then lost 40k in rollover - oof. But wow, Dina, 100k is a lot!

Anyways, I'm off to buy ALL the pointed foundations...

I went from 700 some to 300 some and lost 60k in show bonus ^_^

It has been timing out for years and it was clearing a lot of horses that should have died ages ago.

That explains it! I'm happy to have had them as long as we did!

I lost 233 and my bonus went down 50k. A bit of a shock, but it's nice to get that room in the show barns!

My bonus went down 49k! I was so close to hitting 400k, too. I don't know how many horses total because I didn't look beforehand. At least 309 though because that's how many are missing from my oldies show barn.

I think I lost around 270 horses, I had 19 pages worth of horses that might roll over and now I have 9 pages left. O_o Ouch. Lots of show ponies gone and some of my lined horses too.

I've been voluntarily culling 16years plus hard so I only dropped 2k in daily. But I lost one of my favorite show boys, FavSh Painted Favorite, that helped inspire my Bay Tobiano Appaloosa love. He was a very deep bay tobiano. He never made any papering foals, just loved his color and he showed well.

On a brighter note my favorite daughter from CaughtMeStandingAlone is still teaching the young ones how to dance. :)

I also got got 45 eggs and a clone from my first Freaky Friday love before she hit 20 and one of her sons from Mr. Cheerio is helping make papering foals for my Legacy lines. :) I will miss her when she does go but I'm pretty proud of her.

I didn't check before hand, but there are about 300 missing from my show barns, and my daily took a heavy hit.

All I know for sure is Pearl Charming made it one more year, cause I was pulling straws at rollover.

I lost 200 k in showing bonus so thats going to hurt for a while.

My Axiom Red foundation stud also passed but luckily I made a clone of him.

I lost 1355 horses, and took off 220K of my showing bonus. I am in desperate need of more show ponies!

Wow guys! I feel as though I got away with this month. I dropped 3k in bonus, I reached 110k last month in daily bonus. I lost about 50 horses
