Just as the title says.

Can two clones be merged together to make a chimera since they both come from the Hajinc University?

I have absolutely no idea, but I would guess that IF you can, you would only get the 2 primary sets of genes.

@BlackWyld I don't have enough GMTS to actually merge them but it inspected one of my clone to merge to another of my clones and t said they were viable to merge together so I think the answer is yes you can merge clones

I assume clones can also only be merged with other clones since the are bred by Hajinc.
You won't be able to merge them with a foundation would you?

Also, can you only merge clones from your barn or am I able to merge a clone from my barns with another clone purchased from another player?

@ChrystalBlues I had peaked cause one of my first thoughts of being able to create chimeras via merging was the potential of combining two brindle hh. :)

@BlackWyld clicked on a random foundie I had went to the GMT lab and it inspected the clone I selected for merge and said it could so I believe that indicates that you can merge a viable clone with any viable non brindle/chimera foundie you own

I want to clone my girl Silmerana:

BW BBA Silmerana

Due to my BBA (Black Brindle Army) requirements I never thought I could clone her before as her clone would not be brindle and that is a requirement for all my foundation stock.

Now with Ammit making it possible to merge two horses to create a chimera I can work around that and have a second chance at my girl. I am just trying to figure out the nitty gritty bits as I don't think I can afford to clone her twice before she ages out.

Why not merge her clone with a random black (or whatever color) foundy of the appropriate paper level & then just set the inheritance chance to 100% for her DNA strand?

Both of these are clones that i merged with a random exceptional and set to 100% inheritance of the clone's strand. I did look beforehand to see if they could be merged together and it would allow it. I chose to use of age horses so i could pull eggs right away.
