    So how will that work for breeding? Will the foals have a 50/50 shot at inheriting either Bats or Spider?

    And how can she be both black splash AND blue roan splash? Not quite sure how the new system with chimerism works exactly.

    @Wolf375 the foal will have a 50% chance of inheriting DNA from either set. However, each set of DNA still has two strands with a 50% chance of being passed if the foal inherits that set of DNA. So in fact, foals have a 25% chance of inheriting Bats and a 25% chance of inheriting spiders but they will only inherit one or the other.
