Show Results...what is the score based on?
-
I am going through looking at show results and I don't understand the score card? Can someone explain it to me? I know it is random but I have never showed English so I want to understand how I would see the score card in real life.

It’s not really that random.
Before this show system came about it was quite normal for a player to have a spread sheet to determine when the best time to show the horse next. I’d go through each barn to update the show scores from the night before and it would calculate how many points needed for that horse to be competitive in that show level and how many weeks of training required.
Every week when the horse gets trained it adds a base number of points to its score (it’s been a really long time since I’ve tracked shows but it was often around 3-4 points)
Higher PT horses get a higher number of points added to their score.
Inconsistency also comes into play. I believe even consistent horses can have a 1-2 point swing above or below their base score and inconsistent ones can have a larger swing up or down from the score they should be placing at.Breeding even generation Grullos with Ice
