Yesterday our puppy had to go to the city next to ours for eye surgery as he had cherry eye. Our city is too small to do a corrective surgery for it, they were only willing to snip the gland off (yikes!). So we took the train to the next city and we walked around the city for over 12 hours whilst we waited for results of the operation. I feel dead today.

Not going to lie, it was a little bit scary as his breed is very sensitive to sedatives and they’ve been known to have their heart stop mid-surgery. A dog that is related to him had his heart stop during neutering.

Anyway, Gordon is fine right now. Sore, cranky, pity party is on full volume but pretty fine. Just two weeks of the cone of shame and fingers crossed we don’t need more corrective surgery in future.
