I picked up a very pretty girl a couple of seasons ago and on looking at her pedigree I had an idea for a new line I want to explore. :) Up until now I've been focused on breeding evenly and true to a foundation stud. I love all my boys and have a growing number of solid mares I've put time and hbs into, so I decided that I ultimately want each of them to be represented in a line.
I know some GMT work will be needed to represent the best of the foundations down each of the generations. My love will still be for DP, S+, sa, and SNF with various white spotting (except w20).

What I'm hoping for here is suggestions for well known studs or mares outside of mine to also be represented in this project line and/or in a second "Who's Who" of foundations pedigree.

I have this Studio descendant. He has been the most represented stallion throughout my lines as he was my very first fantasy boy. He is probably going to age out tonight but I do have 20 straws pulled from him that I probably wont use if you're interested

Day of the Moon might be right up your alley! I also remember Freakish being pretty popular. Ithildin is by far my favorite stud to see around!

I am slowly sorting through my chins and will have some Ithildin sons and daughters (mostly half chin) available as soon as I get the cash saved up for comparison testing. :D

Some other favourites of mine are Enlightened Mind and Day of the Moon.
And what was the name of that stud that started Ice 5?

Yep, he’s the one! I’ll send it over. If you want and don’t already have a snowflake/kp/dp mare you’re already planning to pair him with, I have two foundation mares you could do so - one snf/dp, one kp/dp. I could send you an egg from either. (Of course, that being if you don’t already have an entirely different mare in mind!)

Enlightened Mind and Day of the Moon were my guys. I have various straws, eggs and descendants scattered around if you’re interested in adding their blood to your herd. Mind was hom Mach (as well as satin and W8), but Moon was all open genes (KP DP Kit M). My KP herd remains all open gene so that I can share at least one of my lines with everyone!

Looper, the only hom DP second gen boy I have is lo PT and only AGA Ithildin, I have a few third gens that go back to Ithildin through both their sire and dam. I can see what I can find out of them if that works for you.

The ones I was thinking of are some of the originals, but probably not good for this project. But some of those with longer pedigrees, these were some of the greats of old if you can find a pedigree with all of them!

Cool idea! I have some suggestions and a few descendants of interesting studs. :D

I have descendants of Studio Ghibli to at most the 5th generation, but I might also have some Ithildin stock.
I do remember Silver Bells, who was the first ExPro stud on this server and very unique. I have straws from an A son of his, if you'd like some. :)
I also have a few straws from a 2g descendant of an Abbey Road stud, Galadhon.

Ok, went through my straw bank and found straws fro several foundation stallions. I should probably use/ sell some of them. Let me know what you think. Some of these are bigger names than others.

Dark Star Dark Sun Rising (Only have 2, these are definately a case of I would breed these to the best mares I have and possible get the best foal to a stud and put him up for breeding on a forum or something, this is a very big and very old name stud here)

These 2 are 2 of my favorite studs (both deceased but i have straws). Im not sure how influential they were but they gave me and a lot of others a lot of great babies.

Woodland Acres, you have straws to Darkstars original foundation stallions? That's pretty cool! I wouldn't breed them to your best lined mares though, breed them to a couple of nice foundation mares to start a new line with them! Dark Sun Rising was B papered and Invested was C papered

Yes, I am trying to decide which found mares to breed them too. My most decked out found mares turned out to be yellow papered unfortunately, so probably not the best match for darlin sun even though part of me wishes it was, possibly use an invested straw on her... but I will need to spend some time thinking about them and probably not do those breedings till I have time to think about my lined breeding lines again. Much thinking.

Pastures gave a lot of pretty neat combos to start with :) At least Gen 2 I can still fit two sires initials in the front. I haven't decided on a quick reference for Gen 3 and up so I don't repeat sires if plausible.

I have straws available from this fellow if he is if interest to you, he is quite possibly one of the best sons of Ithilidin and carries sooo many amazing genetics. He’s the best stallion I’ve ever bred and I’m more then happy to share some straws if he suits you ^^ no worries if not!

Oh, so exciting! Sorry, I now have gathered some of my braincells back to do things here again. Would you like some straws from me still? If not I will probably use straws on my found girls once my stallion passes of old age and then I will have horses available. Trying to only keep 2nd gen blues/ As now, but if you like reds I should have plenty to sell from a variety of past stallions.
