Is there away to gift closed gene but wait to gift it? Or get horse for the gene then gift it? This for my giftee. I know I can put it on a horse they own now but I like to wait on it.

Also is the reroll horse button gone or moved?

If your giftee doesn't own the closed gene, then no. You can only put it on a horse they own.

What I did one Secret Santa is I bought a specific foundation that I wanted to put closed genes on that the SS had asked for. I did all the basic GMT work while it was at my barn and then had it sent via elf to my SS with the instructions to put it in their barn somewhere and please not touch at as it may magically "change" throughout the season.

It was awesome and my SS must have had a blast checking it each day to see if there was a change. :)

You can also save the genes in your paypal cart as they appear but don't actually add them. Then send the horse and go pay for everything at once when your giftee has the horse (if that makes sense lol) :) I believe that might work but not sure with the horse changing homes but it might be worth a test?

Mine stays unless i sign out of PayPal. It'll stay for weeks, for me. So definitely worth looking into, imo. That's exactly how i would do it.

That is good idea as well for my other giftee. They have the horse already. I love doing gift time. I have so much fun on the hunt.

Relying on the cart is a good way to lose the lot, but things also stay for a long time in mine.

I once had someone try to use the sale price for a barn some 2 months after that sale expired.

Mine clears, so keeping it in my cart does not work for me.

For example, if you try to do that for the galloping sales it will refuse to take the sale price after the sale expires
