I just sent in my application to adopt Slew! Shes an Appendix and i had the amazing opportunity to have her as a school horse for not one semester, but two! I rode her first year, second semester for Advanced Western Riding and second year, second semester for Advanced English Riding! I am so nervous about waiting to hear back! I think i have a relatively decent chance since all my old teachers are on the committee and know how well i work with Slew but i don't wanna get my hopes up yet. But if y'all could say a prayer for me, i would appreciate it! I will for sure update this when i know if i got her or not! The only concerning part is that the college is 9.5 hours away so I have to convince my dad to go on a weekend trip lol But she is so worth it! I haven't seen her since i graduated in 2017 :x Wish me luck!

Haven't heard anything yet! Classes go until end of April and they want the horses placed by May 15th so i might not hear back until cloer to then! But i will for sure keep y'all updated!

Not yet. With all this virus stuff going on, I'm sure it's delaying everything. But once i hear anything i will be sure to update :)

Well I got an email today from one of my instructors reguarding my application. Unfortunately, they have decided to go with another adopter. I am so heartbroken :( I know its probably best since I am barely making money right now but still, it hurt to read that email. I hope whoever got her loves her as much as I do.
