Possibly last month for two Favorite Bootstrap boys. Up for breeding
-
As the title states. Faulkar and Lessons are both 17. Finally got my straw hoarding done on them and now can put them up for stud for the rest of their breedings. These boys have really earned their way in my barn, Lessons with 40 top stallion awards over his lifetime and Faulkar with 56 top stallion awards. These really have been the backbone of my bootstrap program and I am really nervous to see how my new boys will be able to fill their shoes going forward... they are gigantic ones to fill. Lessons and the recently late Requiem were home bred boys of mine, but Faulkar was the last DarkStar horse I got as a secret Santa present from Riata, he has been far better of a present than I could have ever imagined to hope for, thank you again, @Riata. I also got him as a foal shortly before Dark Star stopped playing as far as I can tell, so there are very few of her horses left out there. When he ages out it will be like the end of an age almost... So weird to think about, but there are many descendants of dark star horses out there too.

I'm just beginning to jump into the world of Bootstrapping. As in I started working on a herd a couple days ago. I couldn't be happier with the foal I just got from Falkaur! Thank you for putting him up publicly.

I've been sad watching the Dark Star bred horses fade from my herd too, they were a huge part of building my boot herd.
Thank you very much for sharing Falkaur with us! I tried him with a few of my open DS-bred girls, and I got a few who didn't turn out so great, but just when I was getting discouraged, I got some really great babies! All colts, but very nice!
This boy will definitely become a girl.

This boy will take over my smaller Gold pasture after I tweak his sooty he missed from his dam, see what I can get from him and some of my flashier Heimdall line mares especially. He tested pretty well, which is awesome because my luck with outside breeding my boots is usually horrible. lol

And this boy turned out really nice too, I just might have to get him a pasture set up too, if I don't genderflip him. :D
