I have officially lost both my jobs... Need support
-
Well, as of today i have officially lost both of my part time jobs for an indefinite amount of time. I will be applying for unemployment tomorrow. I am so anxious and upset about this whole situation. I am worried about being able to feed my animals. My state is going into Shelter in Place/lock down at midnight tonight for three weeks. My sister brought her two horses and her dog home from Kentucky last night and my horse came home earlier this afternoon. We got hay tonight and then my sister and i went and got whatever feed we may need for the animals that we can afford (I also have three dogs, a goat, and a rabbit to feed. My dad helps with the dogs since one is a family dog and one is partly his dog). I owe my dad $203 for my horse's vet bill today and i have to pay student loans on the 1st. I just don't know how i will afford all of it. I am so stressed out I wanna cry.
I don't even know if i will be able to finish my special project stallion that will go with Studio Ponoc. I just hope i can save hbs to ask for RGS genes from others who are able to help. I managed to spare $5 to finish one project on the other server but i can't spend anything more. I may even have to stop my premium upgrade indefinitely.
The only good thing right now is that my horse is finally home (went to my friend's house last November for the winter) and now I can go ride every day. And my sister is home with her horses so i will have someone to ride with again. At least for a little while.
So tell me a funny story or tell me about your favorite pixel pony. Something to distract me from the next 3 weeks of state-wide isolation and my stress/anxiety...Bluegrass Server: HayesStable - 221755

Something useful first. Have you checked your method of payment on the loan? If there is a pay according to your income option, then see if you can be switched to that? Also have you ever asked for forbearance on your student loans? This is option number two after checking for changing your payment style because you can usually only use forbearance once. Call them and see if any of their policies have changed in light of what's going on. Most federal loans have the option of 1 year forebearance for financial hardship. There may be language in private loan contracts regarding that too. Interest will accrue but you won't have to pay unless you can or until the forebearance runs out. When I graduated in 2010 I had to use forbearance on my federal loans to get through the first year because I didn't make enough to pay living expenses and loan payments but didn't qualify for income based payments. It's a stopgap measure but it helped.
Okay now funny. When I was 13 my family and I had this wild idea that it would be great for a moody, introverted extrovert of a teenager (that ONLY makes sense in a teenager... ;) ) who hated journaling to go on a 3 week trip to the United Kingdom and Ireland with about 20 other teenagers from across the US ;) . She loved photography and took a lot of pictures with her battery chugging Kodak based Pentax point and shoot she thought she'd never get rid of until the light sensor finally died. The whole trip took about 25 rolls half of which were naturally poorly centered or dark or out of focus.
:)) She got into trouble with the credit card her parents gave her for souvenior money (she's still slowly paying them back for that one ;) ) . The coach rides were abyssmally boring!! ~X( And sometimes it took all day just to get to the next location, 6-8 hour drives! But the lands they got to hike in when the adults were sensible enough to let the kids off the bus were absolutely amazing! Malvern and Stratford upon Avon and Swansea and Cardiff. The Swansea open air market was tops for food. :) Welsh cakes and the inventors of meat pies!
Things got really interesting between Ireland and Scotland though because they all got a round of bad chicken nuggets at one of the tours in Kilfane. Not going into details there but the people they were staying with were very kind and gracious. Their coach driver was a very kind and gracious man as well but he never let a mistake go without a fair jab. ;) They got into Edinburgh in time for a show and she had the best time dancing in her new wool skirt and watching the sword dance and listening to the singing! Scottish dancing is more fun than Irish :P. Well the driver was picking them up to go to the hotel and one of the guys had not been able to "wait" and was in the coach loo while everyone was getting situated. He pushed the wrong button. The one that emptied said loo onto the parking lot instead of flushing the toilet. They all realized his mistake at once! :-)) Well the "gracious" driver kindly explained his mistake and pulled out the most ridiculous looking clown wig we'd ever seen! =)) The young man had to wear "Wally" for the rest of the night! Even seeing a million pounds (cash notes) at the millenium dome later will never surpass the look on that kid's face when we realized he'd done so much more than fart in a coach full of middle schoolers! =)) -
If your student loans are federal loans, you should be able to request 60-90 days deferment without incurring interest charges. I believe I heard that was being put into effect with everything going on. You should also qualify for unemployment, although it won’t be the same amount you were making it is something to help.
I don’t have any funny stories at the moment, but I do have a new favorite foundation pair.

@Looper That was a whirlwind of a story :)) I have always desperately wanted to go to Ireland (and Scotland). I have Ireland on my bucket list but it probably won't happen without a miracle lol
@FallenShadows714 They are absolutely stunning! What a gorgeous pair!
As for my student loan payments, i will have to talk to my dad. He is the one who set them up so i have no idea how to even access that information. I know that i won't be accruing interest during this whole pandemic but i have no idea about anything elseBluegrass Server: HayesStable - 221755
