So I know lots of people are stuck at home. (We have Flufflepuff home from preschool for at least two weeks since I am in the high-risk category for Covid-19 complications.) I wanted to do something fun for you all. First herd helper rerolls were knocked down to only 1k per roll. We are also going to be doing an art contest.

To enter complete the image with your equine fantasy. These horses need manes and tails, coats, eyes, etc. You may create as many versions as you want using any medium that you want. Any design that clearly had effort and thought put into it will count as an entry.

I have no idea how long this will run or what prizes we should do (feel free to make suggestions!) but we can figure that out as we go.

@Gracie3B In the comment box there's some little tabs above where you type (at least on Firefox?) and they do things like put bold or italic on your text. Over toward the right end is a little tab with what looks like a tiny blue and green picture - that's the one that will let you use a link to post a pic! All you have to do is plug in the link inside the quotes:

Here's one of mine. Will update when I do more.
*Edit - I think rainbow could be a fun fantasy gene. Have it where the only thing it affects is the mane/forelock and tail, and it can show with any base color/pattern, on greys, blacks, chestnuts, watercolors, nexus, axioms, Onyx, all of it. And would be cool to be when it's het, it's a pastel rainbow, and when it's hom it's a darker rainbow similar to mine. And allow a range of how big each color section of hair is.

This guy was supposed to be a chestnut going grey, but his mane/tail/forelock didn't exactly work right, but I feel he could work for chestnut going grey, or some stone affect or something of that sort.

This one is a bay Sabino (could have Rabicano, but I didn't want to specify since I know that in real life, Sabino can have similar patterns to what's on this girl's flank).

Hmm, where did you get your link from? Mine is imgur plus the image thing but all it shows is a box with image inside. Maybe I can’t use imgur and need to get it from somewhere else?

@Gracie3B you copied the wrong thing. That is a page URL and works as a link. It is not an image so you can't use it as an image.

Okay, this little lady took me a few hours and I'm pretty happy with her. She is in dedication to all of us who suffered and are still suffering and trying to get solid grounding since the NSW 2020 bushfires. We united across the world for this major disaster and most of us came out the other side RIP to those lost. I would love to introduce AussieBushfires

@towdolly scroll to the bottom of the forum screen (on mobile) on the left it will say powered by vanilla or the right it says full site and next to that log out, but if you click full sit then the forum area will look like it is on desktop. Hope this helps

@ellemere022 There is a free photoshop available called gimp, it is finicky but I use photoshop as I do equine manipulation.

@Ellesmere022 The free programs I usually recommend are firealpaca and krita, gimp is also an option, and then on mobile (phone/tablet) there’s ibispaint, practically as good as a full blown program with the exception of a smaller screen, lol! It’s currently where I do all my art on my ipad.
