Hey all, I've been tearing my hair out all month trying to figure out what to do with this handsome fella:

HMS Decadence 1G

He is already hom Chocolate, but I was thinking of adding Lace to him as well (I've already added it to a few mares). However, before I do (if I do, if I can decide) I wanted to put some feelers out to see what people would be most interested in as I do want him to be of actual interest for straws.

So! What do you guys think? Leave him as just Chocolate, or add het/hom Lace? Thoughts and opinions are so welcome!

And if you've made it this far and offer me your thoughts, comment your user ID and once he's open for breeding (likely next season) I will send you a FREE straw from him (to the first 20 people who help me out :) )!

Lace and KP2 are very pretty together. My mare on Bluegrass isn't chocolate but she's got lace and KP2. I think it sorta looks like a dewdrop spiderweb.

Ohhh you are right! That does look so beautiful! I really want him to be unique, like your mare is, hence why Lace has been so tempting to me

For the looks it's a pretty cheap gene. I've got it on a couple of my mares on this server, but I don't think they're near as noticable as Whistling.

I have a couple foals with het Chocolate, Lace, KP2. They are my favorites so far. I bet with hom Chocolate they'd be amazing looking. So like ChrystalBlues said, Lace and KP2 is gorgeous!

I would be interested in buying straws from him if he had lace.

My lace mares want KP2 as well.

I looove the subtleness of lace, so I would say go for it! But if you are uncertain you could just do heterozygous, so not all of his babies get it :x

Thank you all so much for your feedback! :D he is now het lace (may add another strand, we shall see)!

I will be sending out your straws once he ages up next breeding season! ^^

He's so perfect! Hom for Chocolate, has Lace and KP2! Exactly what I wanted, although it was costly to boost him to make him pass haha!

@MCzigans91 he is lovely! I'm so happy the kp2 passed down to him :) and of course! Straws are 5k ^^

Additionally - try breeding him to Exceptionally Perfect or Exceptional Producing mares! You'll have a better chance of foals passing BA without needing to be boosted.
