Want to Help me (A lot) And Make Money?

So kinda confusing but I don't have a lot of time. So I'll try to write as succintly as possible.
I have a text-based adventure story I am writing. Its for my computer science class. So really they just care that I wrote the code.
https://onlinegdb.com/HyaFLng7I
But I would love to have better stories too. So I would love having more depth to the stories. So this is a super short 26 hour giveaway. But I will be giving 250,000$ to the best piece of story for the descriptions below. (Each 8a 4b ending counts as a different piece of text). Please DO write for more than one ending. You can win multiple times in multiple sections.
You might have to play the game to even know what I'm talking about. So sorry. Like I said confusing. (If you find bugs let me know. There's only so much testing I was able to do)
1st. In one alt. ending I have you die while capturing the horse? I mean from a horse person's point of view - "What the heck?". So maybe a crazy tale where at the end you get bucked off a cliff or into a tree or something.
2nd. There is one instance where the above is supposed to happen to you, but due to sufficient skill you make it through. So maybe some epic tale of riding out a bunch of bucks only to have to give up in the end.
3rd. So if you do catch a horse you randomly also get a deer. And I never said such a thing in my ending. I think I also let you go directly to the merchant? (don't remember if I actually did or not. Oops). But maybe some tale about how after you got the horse you were able to quickly hunt the deer then because you were so much faster you were able to go directly to the merchant. But then you decided you should let the horse run free. (But also I do give a substantial skill boost for catching the horse. Like +50 I think)
4th. All of the bandit endings. (4A and 4B) Die or not die. Not die he takes some money, and you lose skills because you are all shaken up. Die and you actually gain skills because hopefully you learned your lesson.
5th. Similar thing with catching the boat scenes. In some you die, in others you make it through but no boat. And some you have a boat. I don't have any story at all for these.
6th. Catching the fish. Some you get a massive amount of fish, but lose skill. Like you are SO exhausted from it. Others you catch a medium amount of fish, and lose less skill because you are exhausted. In the other you catch a small amount of fish but you're skill goes up because you learned something.
7th. All the deer endings. You catch it, die, or lose it. (7a, 7b, 7c). The die while catching deer statistically is just the lose it options, but if you have negative skill or something than "your sheer ineptitude" makes you lose it. Would love a story with that explained. (And all three of these endings)
8 Raft stories
8A floating and getting a sunburn.
8B (searching for the fishing pole. (spoiler alert - no one ever gets the pole mwahaha)
9
A description of edge of town
B. Descrption of edge of forest
C description of deeper in the forest where you see evidence of the deer, horse, and how its cold etc.
D. Description of edge of the ocean.
E. Description of floating on the raft.
10. So if you leave the bar with negative skill a sherriff comes to arrest you. Need more text here.
A Need more description on resisting arrest (and eventually ending up dying)
B. Need more description on willingly going to jail.
11. Longer tale about working for the merchant
Pretty much every other place with text. Every step that I might have forgot.
I will add as I remember more of my options.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

To clarify it can be as short (the minimum is just a handful more words than I wrote) or as long (literally as long) as you want to write for me.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

I would love to help, but I'm confused about what you are looking for.I breed for Spotted Drafts that could actually be registered in real life. I like them to be Black, Creamy Black, Gray Black, or Grullo and the horse has to have at least a 2inch square patch of white above the knees/hocks and not on the head. I am hoping to get some really unique color combinations. ID# 50732
-
Did you get a chance to run through the game?
It's a text based story. Although the steps in my story are pretty basic. Like "you caught the horse". I would love to have a little mini story though. But that's a lot of writing material. So I was hoping for someone to help me write longer/more in depth stories. Does that help?
Thank you!Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

If you've ever played Zork, I think she's looking for something like they use. These are a couple of examples from the Zork game:
- "West of House: You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here."
- "Forest Path: This is a path winding through a dimly lit forest. The path heads north-south here. One particularly large tree with some low branches stands at the edge of the path."
- "Canyon View: You are at the top of the great canyon on its south wall. From here there is a marvelous view of the canyon and parts of the Frigid River upstream. Across the canyon, the walls of the white cliffs still appear to loom far above. Following the canyon upstream (north and northwest), Aragain Falls may be seen, complete with rainbow. Fortunately, my vision is better than average, and I can discern the top of flood control dam #3 far to the distant north. To the west and south can be seen an immense forest, stretching for miles around. It is possible to climb down into the canyon from here."
Now I'm feeling inspired, HUSG. Maybe I'll write you something!Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free.Thanked by 1HunterUnderSaddleGirl -
That would be awesome! I would love any help. Thank you everyone.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

Edge of Forest
You are now standing at the edge of the forest. Gray light from an overcast sky filters down through the canopy of trees, and a chilly breeze blowing in off of the beach causes the leaves to rustle overhead. You notice squirrels scampering about the branches, and a faintly defined game trail disappears into the undergrowth ahead of you. Type (hunt) to go hunting....Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free. -
Thank you!Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.
15552 -
You Decided to Hunt
You move deeper into the forest along the game trail, intently searching for a large game animal. As you walk, you notice both deer and horse dung; both are fresh enough to indicate that the animals are nearby. Light rain begins to fall. Type (horse) to try and tame the horse...Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free. -
You Decided to Hunt the Deer - And Died
Well, that's one deer that won't be making it into the stew pot, and you won't be making it back home either. As you clumsily attempted to bring the gigantic buck down, you managed to stumble directly into a giant hornet nest lodged in the crook of a fallen snag. Better luck next time! Type (continue) to try again...
This would be fun if you had two or three bad endings that you could randomize - a bear, a landslide, hornets...Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free. -
Even if you never use these, I'm having fun playing with them! Prizes are not necessary.Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free.

So yay! Its not due until midnight so hopefully, I will have time to upgrade even more of the text.
Thank you towdolly for helping me out!Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

Oh my I didn’t realize you were still working on this actually geared towards turning it in! What do you still need? I have to work today but let’s see if I can help in a couple more spots.Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free.

4. Bandit Endings
4a. Die
You set up your camp for the evening and wandered out into the woods to gather some firewood. You come back to find someone looting your food and belongings, and you announce yourself hoping to scare him away. Instead, he attacks you and knocks you out. You come to, tied to a tree with a piece of ripped clothing in your mouth so no one hears you.
4b. Live
You set up your camp for the evening, eat your dinner by the fire and crawl into your tent to sleep. Not really thinking, you leave your food and belongings sitting in your pack outside the tent. You drift off to sleep, snoring like a train, and completely miss hearing a bandit enter your campsite and loot your remaining food and belongings. You awake the next morning, alive but with no food or weapons.

Nice job, Fallen!Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free.

I have some ideas for dying while catching the horse - since I mentioned that rain was beginning to fall when you decided to hunt, maybe muddy ground plays a factor, or a landslide.Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free.

6. Catching Fish
6a. Catch a ton of fish, but lose lots of skills
You follow a stream through the woods until you come upon a large river. Deciding this would be a good place to stop and do some fishing for dinner tonight, you dig around for some worms. Finding a wide, flat rock, you sit down and cast your line out. Either there are a lot of fish, or no one has fished here in a long time, because you catch fish after fish after fish. However, you forget to pace yourself and only take what you need, so the sun beating down on you and the work of reeling in fish and casting the line wears you out to the point you fall asleep. You wind up wasting most of the fish you caught, because you fell asleep and they rotted before you were able to prepare them.
6b. Catch a moderate amount of fish, only lose some skills
You follow a stream through the woods until you come upon a large river. Deciding this would be a good place to stop and do some fishing for dinner tonight, you dig around for some worms. Finding a wide, flat rock, you sit down and cast your line out. You find the fish are biting really well today, and you catch quite a few fish. You start to feel tired, and upon counting the fish you have already caught, decide to finish up for the day. You lose some of the fish to rot, because you caught more than you were able to prepare some before exhaustion overtook you.
6c. Catch a small amount of fish, gain skills
You follow a stream through the woods until you come upon a large river. Deciding this would be a good place to stop and do some fishing for dinner tonight, you dig around for some worms. Finding a wide, flat rock, you sit down and cast your line out. You catch a small amount of fish, and decide that is enough for you for the next day or so of meals and move on to prepare the fish. You only caught what you needed, so you were able to complete your task before any fish went to waste.
(The main setup for these scenarios is the same, but I’m working on only a few hours of sleep thanks to sick kiddos) -
Thank you guys! Next time I can sit down I'm going to update with theseBreeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

10. Leaving Bar with Negative Skill and Arrested
10a. Sheriff comes to arrest and you resist (die)
After an evening of over-indulging at the local watering hole (bar), you try to leave at closing time without settling your bill. The sheriff is summoned, who upon discovering you do not have enough money to cover your bill, moves to arrest you and take you to jail. Since you are not in the right frame of mind, you argue with the sheriff and eventually throw a punch. During the scuffle, you manage to get away from the sheriff and you run away into the forest on the edge of the town. The sheriff then calls a manhunt for you, which ultimately leads to your death when you try to outfox the people searching for you and you misstep, falling into a ravine.
10b. Sheriff comes to arrest you and you willingly go
You are sitting in the local watering hole (bar) having a drink, chatting with some of the townspeople. One guy gets belligerent after drinking too much and starts an argument with the barkeep. You decide to get involved and try to get the guy outside to cool off, which starts a fight. Some glasses are broken in the scuffle, and the barkeep summons the sheriff. He arrests the drunk man, and says he is going to have to arrest you as well for the broken glasses and the fighting. You go along willingly, knowing you should have just left it alone and let the barkeep handle it.
(A variation of 10b could be your speech skill (think Skyrim) is high enough where you convince the intoxicated guy to leave without there being a fight or issue, and avoid the sheriff and gain more skills.) -
Thank you both! It should be all up to date now. I had to switch one or two words so that it fit (did have a boat) fishing. But these were fabulous!

(If you decide to use any of this, feel free to change it up a bit and make it your own! :D)
@Towdolly I was thinking the same thing about it being rainy/the weather being bad!
1st. In one alt. ending I have you die while capturing the horse? I mean from a horse person's point of view - "What the heck?". So maybe a crazy tale where at the end you get bucked off a cliff or into a tree or something.
- As the clouds grew darker and more ominous, the horse in front of you became restless; there was a strange electricity in the air that made the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Loud thunder boomed in the distance, and a lightning bolt struck near your hiding place in the tall grass. Flames engulfed your surroundings, and the horse that you had your eyes on reared up and galloped away. You sadly couldn't find an escape from the flames that the lightning caused.
Type (continue) to try again.
2nd. There is one instance where the above is supposed to happen to you, but due to sufficient skill you make it through. So maybe some epic tale of riding out a bunch of bucks only to have to give up in the end.
-As the clouds grew darker and more ominous, the horse in front of you became restless; there was a strange electricity in the air that made the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Loud thunder boomed in the distance, and you decided that now was a better time to attempt to capture the horse. You jump up from your hiding spot in the tall grass and successfully land on the horses back; It reared and tried to buck you off, but because of your quick thinking and dexterity you were able to stay on. A lightning bolt struck near where you had been hiding only seconds ago, and your newly caught steed galloped away with you safely on its back.

Oops sorry! I forgot to delete that. The second one is finished too :)
Are there any more that you need done? I may be able to help out some more -
Are you able to play it so you have some context for these? Otherwise they're difficult to explain. Haha
I still need
Floating on the raft (before decided to look for pole, float, return etc)
getting sunburn on the raft
Searching for the fishing pole (which how I did this particular one is confusing if there is a way to clean it up? But I have you floating on the raft then say you look for a fishing pole, but its down the beach.... Anyways its just kinda messy)
More detail when the dude catches you coming for his boat. (Before you type your number and see if you win)
Those are just the first few I saw. Don't feel like you have to do them all. But if you want to do more there's still like 20 more with no detail, so I can certainly find more.
And I am VERY grateful. I think having more story is greatly improving this story.

floating on the raft:
Congrats, you chose the raft! the sun reflected off of the calm ocean waves. You could see giant fishes swimming off in the distance, taunting your empty stomach. you took a deep breath in, Maybe you could find a pole if you looked hard enough?
(type return to go back to the shoreline)
(type float to float randomly)
(type search to look for the pole on the beach)
*in progress* -
Awesome!
If you see anything "funky" if/when you're playing please let me know. Usually what step the error occured is enough for me to find it. Usually its a typo like me saying oocean instead of ocean in the name of some call somewhere.
ETA "funky" might include weird formatting. Like I had to guess where each phrase makes a new line. So I have to write \n. If I did a bad job guessing its ugly. Then I have to remember to have no space after the \n otherwise it looks funky as there will be a random space and it won't be aligned with the rest of the words. Etc. So please let me know if I can make it more aesthetically beautiful!

Sorry I didn't get back to it today, sounds like the other ladies helped out a lot though! Looking forward to playing through a few more times with the new storyline!Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free.

No problem! Thank you for all of your help. Every bit of it is appreciated. I still have a few more hours so I'm going to go to the math tutor then write up my report. So far the report is being more annoying that the actual assignment! Enrollment workshop for next semester is underway tonight as well.
Kinda bummed. Got the next week's computer science lab and it doesn't look a fraction as fun.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.
15552 -
HUSG, how'd the assignment go?Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free.
-
Well there was some minor drama. I didn't know that there was an online pep8 checker. So I lost points for that. And then I lost points for not including a screenshot that proved that it was formatted correctly. So lost more points. Then I lost points on the naming convention. Which I eventually protested that and something else as it wasn't in the directions. And they forgot my extra credit. So before protest I got a 82%. After protest I got 95%. So that was exciting! Showed it to one of my old teachers and he was amazed with it which made me feel good.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.
15552 -
So the pep8 checker would have shown you any code formatting errors? Ah well, now you know.
Even an 82 isn't too shabby, but a 95 is pretty darn good. Congrats!
Just be sure to read the assignment requirements carefully, and sometimes you have to interpolate things like naming conventions. :)Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free. -
Yea. Most people do it on the school computers where its built in, and I use visual studios. So I didn't know that there was an online checker. And by then it had a lot of errors. So I was like "next time". And as far as the naming they never said, so they gave me points back. But now I do know!
Thanks! I am pretty happy with that.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.
