I was totally interested in like the axiom horses and the watercolor and the thunderstruck plus the unknown anomaly that you have to have a license for. Is their only certain times to buy any of those? I am just so curious! I love all the Gene's! They are all so neat! :)) :x

Gene can be purchased with real life money through the roving gene sale on the upgrade with real money page. The genes available change on the 1st and 15th of every month. There is more information on the faq guide.

If you are just looking to collect shiny show speldings you don't need the gene licenses only to own intact breeding stock.

Once you buy the gene with real money you automatically get the license.

You literally just missed the Christmas sale, when all of the genes you listed were for sale. The genes rotate every 1st and 15th, 3 genes each time (unless a new gene is released like now, when there are 4 genes available for purchase). You would purchase them on the “upgrade with real money” tab

Thank you for all your help (*) I'll definitely be looking out. Shucks I guess I should've been watching the Christmas sale! I really appreciate all the information! Since all of you were kind enough to help me understand, please go through my barns if you'd like and post the stallions back here - I'll send you each straws.

One thing of note, since you mentioned 'unknown anomaly' horses. That is not a specific gene, but rather a combination. If a horse has two Axiom genes, their color will be listed as unknown anomaly. The axiom genes are axiom red, axiom green, axiom blue, wrong warp, and nexus. A combination of any of these genes will give you the unknown color, and nexus is an open gene.
