I've heard rumor about a PATN2 and wondered if I found a mare carrying it?
When I go to change the PATN it give me two options
Change + to +
Change + to PATN1

It has this on both allele options and I thought it was weird, I hadn't seen it before, and I checked another horse. It only gave my the option to
Change + to PATN1 for that horse

Is she carrying a different blanket gene or is this a glitch?

She is carrying a hidden gene.

This is interesting, because I was recently going through some horses and was looking at a stallion I GMTed shortly after I started playing and and saw PATN2 >> PATN1. I wasn't aware there was a PATN2!

Ammit says she's carrying a hidden gene... I'm wondering what it would be, though? That section of appy doesn't usually affect/contain snowflake, so I'm super confused now. Lol

In a couple of seasons I'll get to see what happens cause apparently my Ghost Of Christmas Past is also Hom for whatever it is. >:D<

But... If both are hom... their foals likely won't be helpful, if that makes sense...? :-/ :-?? :-?

@SpryOfJune, assuming they aren't hiding two different hidden genes, and knowing their foals are Hom, their foals will give me a bigger sample set to time test against my + and PATN1 horses if it's a slow, fast or no varnish or just a different blanket? Their other color/markings make it hard to see what the Appie is doing on them. Their foals might have a color pattern that's easier to see?
