Well since its available and I'm totally in love with the two I got through secret Santa exchanges. I've decided to break down an buy the breeding rights for the gene. But before I put it on a horse, is there a color (red, black,etc) that the green shows up best on? Or does it even matter? Thanks

It really doesn’t matter, it seems the amount of actual color you see depends on the white factor of the horse. Remember the heterozygous look and homozygous look are very different from each other, and mixing the red/blue/green axiom create different colors (purple/pink, teal, yellow).

Cream is probably best, but I've also use dun and champagne to dilute coat color. It makes the horse have a black background color with green stars/sparkles.

Oh yes I'm seriously in trouble. I don't know how I'm going to afford this new obsession, but at least some of my babies are only foals this year. :O
