Awful Pt, good breeder?
-
This mare has one of the lowest pt scores I've ever seen! But she still managed to have a blue papered, 10+ pt baby XD
FH Cinnamon
I'd run her through BA if her mama wasn't so low...

I think it a scale form both dam and Sir. Stallion was 11 something PT. I could be wrong.
Crazy low pt I ever seen on a foundation -
Most of mine with horrible pt scores have been excellent breeders.
-
Congrats - doesn't always follow but she looks like a great breeder :)Breeding brown/liver/black with white spotting drafts. If you ever fancy straws PM me. PM me if you need help with GE.

PT and Breeding ability are not in any way linked for foundation horses. You can have exceptional Producers with PT below 1 and Exceptional Show Horses (pt ~10.4) that fails papering.
And it's her father that would potentially cause her to fail BA. She's better than her dam but may not be close enough to her father to pass.#28036 -
PT Score doesn't have anything to do with breeding. PT is for how long they train for showing. A horse can have a horrible PT Score And still paper for breeding. I had one that was a .3 that had awesome babies.

As said PT in foundations doesn't have anything to do with breeding ability, that said your foal was by a much higher quality lined stallion, so the mare probably didn't have much to do with the foal's paper level
