Show them each week, twice a week. Make sure they are all trained each week before you show (foals cannot train, only 2yo and older). I think once an intact horses age equals its PT score, they stop training, and once a snipped horses age is equal to or one greater than their PT they stop training. That’s really all you can do. You can also buy pointed create horses, which accounts with under a certain amount of points can create.

I periodically go through the auction for the highest pointed horses that don't have bids on them yet (but I search for under 10, since I don't want to pay the lifetime payout lol). I've gotten a few good ones that way! That and the newsletter creates are the fastest way to boost your daily income while your spelds are coming into their own, in my experience. (My oldest spelds are only about six or seven years old now, so they're just starting to carry their weight!)
