Hi, so I got a bit of a surprise with my Freaky Friday mare a little while ago. She is a gorgeous appy... I just don'r breed for appies. So I have been saving up and think I'll be turning her into a stud for public breeding. Are people interested? Would such a horse help people in appy lines? She has really big spots and has both red and black, and has two copies of DP, of coarse. My big question is what to do with the frame. Does that have a use with appy lines? Maybe with pintaloosas? Would the double frame be something cool?

Yeah, same here, but someone has offered me a trade for black freaky friday without the appy... so who knows. That would help my lines better even if not as flashy.

You can't breed for Double Frame. You would end up with a dead foal. The Freaky Friday Special Rank is the only HH that comes out with a horse that has two Frame genes, making it the "Freak". The frame works best with whites, it doesn't really effect appaloosa or Tobiano.

But, if you wanted to sell her, I'd offer you 50k for her.

So lucky!! Those spots are huge! I would also be willing to pay a pretty penny for her :) and possibly including a plain FF trade.

Sorry, someone responded very shorty after I posted this and it looks like I'll be trading horses with her. If for any reason that falls through I'll let you guys know, but I think that is a slim possibility.

Just to answer the question of what appy breeders want...two copies of Patn1 or at very least one copy to get more color expression

I wish I could afford her but can't at this time so hope your trade works out :)
