One of my foundation boys have satin and a lot of other stuff and I wanted to see if satin cloned. If it does then I would probably clone my stallion and gmt the clone into a mare. Also does anyone know everything what would and wouldn’t clone from my stallion?
This is what I know
Hom DP (does clone)
Hom KP (doesn’t clone)
Hom snf (does clone)
Hom kitm
Hom satin
Hom Sooty+
Hom pearl
Hom ND1
Hom GP
Hom Appaloosa
Hom flaxen
Het tiger eye 1 & 2 ( doesn’t clone)
Het nexus

No, satin does not clone, nor does Gulastra Plune or nexus. Everything else that hasn’t been mentioned should clone though. Another thing to mention, in case you weren’t aware, clones cannot have genes added to them from the RGS. So the KP/GP/satin/Tiger Eye would need to be added back to the clone using the GMT lab.

From what I've heard, if you can't create it randomly on any create, it won't clone.
Example: snowflake is able to come up on random creates, therefore it is able to be cloned. KP cannot randomly come up on any old create, therefore it's not able to be cloned. Hopefully that makes sense?

As an exception to what Spry said, all the white spotting genes clone even if they aren't createable

Can someone tell me how much a clone would cost?

@Ellesmere022 The base price for the first clone is 50 IVs, then it goes up for each clone. But it only counts per horse. I could clone A horse 3 times and have the amount increase each time, but then go and clone horse B and for the first one it’s 50 IVs (at least I think so, I’ve only cloned once).

Ok thank you all for your help! I was a little disappointed that satin doesn’t clone but I am glad kitm can.
