Is everyone excited for Halloween? Do you guys trick or treat? dressing up?

I am going to a costume horse show! Excited!

My partner and I go to a local improv show that's done every year called "Hellingham" (because our town's name is Bellingham lol). It's a murder mystery and it's hilarious and weird everytime! This will be our 3rd year in a row :D

We dress up and go to the church groups to get candy. And visit fanily members. I was going to dress up like a visco girl, but I think everyone will. Lol oh, what about napoleon dynamite.

This is almost why I need to have a child so that I can use them to obtain halloween candy :p

I am trying to decide what to dress up as for my horse show - my mare is black so I was thinking of either making her a zebra and I the safari guide, or make her a skeleton horse and I be a ghoul or something?

I have an almost-three-year-old who wants to be a ghost for Halloween, and is obsessed with Halloween-themed videos and stuff, so i really feel like i ought to take him trick-or-treating.
We got stuff to make a costume for him, and he's over the moon, and i think he would love knocking on random doors.
Downside: he's allergic to dairy (so no chocolate), and like 20 other things (so no most things - but starbursts are ok!)
Upside: if i can take all his collected candy without a total meltdown, i get to eat it.
Guess I better make a ghost costume and stock up on starbursts to trade for his not-him-friendly stuff! =))

ETA: I vote Zebra & Safari Guide (tm) lol

This is the first year my kiddo has really gotten Halloween. He decided he wants to be a bumble bee, after I got him some new pjs that were yellow and black striped. Just gotta make him some coat hanger wings, and we're good to go! Should be interesting. I doubt he'll want to go to very many houses; he's pretty shy.

We are dressing up one of our ponies and taking her around town handing out candy (and horse treats)

Flufflpuff is very excited for her first-time trick or treating. She and Haystack are both going to be different spidermen. Kids freaking loves spiderman.

I'm watching Spider-Man as I type. My boys are grown and moved out with no kids. This year I'm going to dress my witchy self and pass out candy.

Myself, my partner and 2 doggos are off camping in a very secluded area. We do this because even though we don't decorate the house, and put a sign to say no trick or treating, we still get people knocking on the door sending our youngest dog into a frenzy. It also doesn't help that the locals feel the need to set fireworks off all weekend because its nearly bonfire night.
