So, IRL, I went back to school to advance my certifications and as a result I have had very little time to be here...I log in to find that I have lost my foundation stallions for Watercolor, Nacre and Wrong Warp...so sad...not sure when I can replace them either...anyone else have adulting issues? :)

Yes! I had a rotten summer with lots of parental tension and I thought having a conversation and then spending the first half of a semester at school would clear the air and yet. :P

I'm pregnant and unemployed :))
Luckily my fiance has a fabulous job as an analyst at Amazon Headquarters, so he makes enough money for us to live pretty comfortably. BUT i'm almost to the point where i'm getting lower on personal savings than I would like to be, and I have a car/student loan payment to consider, so I am having to significantly reduce the amount of real cash I spend on the game. And trust me, that is VERY tough to do right now with all the genes on sale!! #Adulting

This community is wonderful and I am sure someone will hook you up with some shiny straws :) I'm so jealous that you have a Nacre license - That's the gene I want most, but when it comes up I just can't talk myself into spending the money.

Definately having adulting problems. Have been trying to give my son a sibling since he was 9 months. He turned 10 this summer. Doing IVF... again... I have lost both my fallopian tubes after having 3 ectopic pregnancies, and had 16 miscarriages. Had my 5th egg retrieval on monday, and ended up getting picked up by an ambulance as soon as we got home, because of pain that was so bad that I lost the ability to communicate. Its getting better...

@MariaChapinFarm3 I can assure you every single individual that has gone through infertility have thought about surrogacy and adoption. That question is literally the most hated in the infertility world. lol. I do not mean to be mean or anything, as you of course did not know, but just so you know if you talk to someone else who is suffering from infertility. I can not adopt because I have had mental health issues in the past, and that excludes you from all agencies here. Surrpogacy is not only illegal where I'm from, it is also extremely expensive if you go abroad (and so is adoption). We are talking an absolute minimum of 50K (if you are really luck), in most cases more than 100K (currency exchanged from NOK to USD).

I'm only 28 and found out today I already have back problems that might require surgery :| They got X-rays today, and gave me anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxers to take for the next two weeks. If those don't work, the next step is an MRI and consult with a neurosurgeon.

I know that they are expensive, but i thought that collecting eggs was costly as well. I totally forgot that you live abroad and that not every country has the same policies as america.. im so sorry. i hope you're able get your boy a little brother or sister soon :)

@MariaChapinFarm3 Ah yes, they are quite expensive when you pay out of pocket. In Norway we get 3 retrievals and all the transfers from them covered, we have to pay a deductable of ~150 USD, and meds up to ~1700 usd. Everything else is covered by our national health care system. A couple can get to try for 2 kids, or if only one of you does not have kids, you get to try for 1 kid. I am on my 5th because I had 3 with my ex husband, and am now on my second with my new husband.

I'm having all the adulting issues. Because of my health I can only really work part time. My hunny does good, but bills suck, and unexpected ones seem to be stacking up lately. I'm ready to look at a second job, but finding it hard to match my skill set with my ability and my tools.

@Maribo I wish you all the luck. :x After 19 years, 3 rounds of ivf, and 9 miscarriages I have reached the age where I no longer want an infant in the house 24/7. I will be happy I got to try it once, and hope at least one of my boys gives me grandkids. Hope you get an accidental.

If you're still in need of a Wrong Warp foundation stud I have this boy. He's hom WW, though he is a CaBM, so he is het Frame as well. He's 19 so I was just about to pull a bunch of straws anyway; let me know if you want any and I'll add them to the pull.

So sorry to hear of your troubles. I lived in Norway back in the 80's for a school term (I'm likely an "older" player). I remember Norway being expensive back then...paying the equivalent of $5 fora small bottle of Coke. I hope whatever happens, you are able to recognize it's meant to be and make peace with it - good or bad.

@levesel2 - EDUCATION IS MORE IMPORTANT! This is a game. If no one has said it, then let it be me. Be proud of yourself for looking after your future! This is a fantastic game, and I do not imagine it's "going away" any time soon, so look after yourself, and keep going with your upgrades. Then, you can afford more pixel ponies when you score the dream career! Please feel free to look over my boys and see if you would like any straws from them ( a gift, for your continued education).
