Okay, I promise I'm not /that/ person, the one that puts up Christmas decorations before Halloween is even here, but am I the only one super excited about Secret Santa coming? I've been hyped for weeks, already scoping out horses that might make cool gifts and saving money to buy my person all the awesome genes. I feel like I seriously dropped the ball last year since it was my first time, and I'm determined to do amazing this year. So...yeah, you might say I'm getting hyper. It's been a good distraction since I got injured at work and have been stuck at home since. So what are you guys most excited about in these last couple months of the year?

I listen to my "remixed"Christmas Music, so I can get through the scary things people post.
I had an awesome time last year. So many horses! I even got a Basic Upgrade.

I have been excited for Secret Santa since last year's ended :)) I LOVE doing Secret Santa! I keep wanting to hoard horses etc but i don't even have a giftee yet to know what to save :))

I have a barn on each Server that Ive been putting the Rank specials we’ve been getting into in preparation for Secret Santa

@Looper, I can't speak about hiddenvfarm's post, but in the month of December there is a game wide Secret Santa event. Last year we spent the first half of the month sending in a form about yourself into the different financial brackets you want to be in. Then you were randomly assigned a person to give to and sent their form so you can send them gifts the rest of the month. It was amazing and I still get emotional when I see some of my gift horses.

Edit: @Bandit1119, that is such a good idea! I need to do that.

Im super excited too! I know that last year I didnt do amazing, but this year I really hope to make someones christmas.

We had a BUNCH of people, last year, buying horses before they were given the name of their giftee, and I was kind of bummed. The whole point is to find things that they ask for

(Personal opinion, not an offical pronouncemtnt!!)

@ConfluenceFarms, I'm not really buying specific horses for my people yet, cause I also like to get them specifically what they like or asked for. But I am looking at good show horses and getting a feel for what closed genes are most popular so I can plan out at least a few gifts. Do you know if we're doing the three financial brackets like last year?

I had such a blast with Secret Santa last year. It was one of the best online events I have ever participated in and I went a little crazy.
I get such a high out of helping people attain their goals and make their dream ponies.
My SS was such a challenge because their likes were quite different from mine but it was so much fun stretching outside my comfort zone and working to suprise them with something they would love.
I was so terrified when the reveal came!
I still stalk their barns every season and love watching their herd evolve into something absolutely spectacular. :x

This year is going to be drastically different for me and I am not sure if I am going to be able to participate at all.
Hopefully! We will have to see.

If not I am gonna elf it up and be the best Secret Santa's little helper that I can possibly be! :D

I didn't participate last year as I was still quite small, though I had a lot of fun helping with wish lists, and received a couple of studs that heavily influenced my lines. I'm hoping to join in this year.

@shelteredShadows I thought about selling them all because I breed strictly for Grullos (trying for all grullo pedigrees) and none fit into my program but figured someone’s Secret Santa would like them even if it wasn’t mine. So I created them as yearlings so they wouldn’t waste too many breedable years and I had an extra barn because I’ve been culling my own herd lol

I didn't do Secret Santa last year, but i did quite a lot of Santa Bombing of genes, barns, pastures, premium upgrades....

@IndianaRanch, if you mean is it possible to buy genes for other people during Secret Santa, yes it is! Actually, before Secret Santa last year it wasn't possible to buy other people genes and to do so was a special event of the month of December. Ended up being so popular, Ammit decided to allow the program to stay. That's one thing I'm really excited for; I want to buy my giftees at least one gene that they don't have.
