Buckskin and grulla?
-
What is their genetic scheme?
-
Buckskin is Bay (EE or Ee and AA or Aa) with an added creme gene.
Grulla is Black (EE or Ee and aa) with an added dun gene.Thanked by 1HomeSweetHome -
Just to add about buskskin -- it can be on any of the agouti variants -- so they could be brown (At) or wild bay (A+) as well as regular bay and still be called buckskin when you add cream.Thanked by 1HomeSweetHome

What do I do with the other stallions that aren't buckskin or grullo?
-
If you breed evenly or by papers I would geld any studs that are not buckskin or grullos if you already have some in that generation or paper level. If you don’t have one then keep the stud that is closest to E? aa D? Or E? A? Ccr?Breeding even generation Grullos with Ice
