I've never had tack when added completely reroll my horses portrait but when I added the cute halloween background from happy bunting to him it completely rerolled his portrait and now he is a hideously white. I immediately removed the back ground and am now wasting hbs trying to get him back to his glorious self. I'm seriously bawling that he is white now, absolutely nothing else about him was changed other then adding that infernal background.

I did manage to get him back to colored with rerolls so he no longer looks white if you click on his link but is changing the background enough to force rerolls of portraits or is this a bug? Cause if its not a bug and that's normal I'm not touching tack packs anymore.

This is a normal part of adding tack, and I have been known to keep adding and removing things in tack if I mess up their look to much. Colors are an easy tweek.

I've never seen tack or a background completely change what my base horse looks like, ever, not like this it literally completely rerolled how his genes displayed

It always causes a reroll.

W10/W8 is almost always white with a few scattered colored dots anyway, so the fact you got an expression with color is unusual in itself.

Thanks guys for letting me know that it is normal and I just haven't noticed it completely rerolling my horses portrait on the horses I've put tack on.

@Cheers yeah I knew the risk for him whitening out when I made him carry the two but when he kept his color I swore I wouldn't reroll him ever cause he didn't white out.... which was why this was so upsetting to me. Now that I know thats a thing I just wont touch tack packs ever again.

I didn't think adding backgrounds re-rolled them?? If so my watercolours would change colour, which they don't. This seems odd to me. I know adding tack refreshes the image but it doesn't usually do a full re-roll

@kintara that's what I thought but it did and they say it does so I'm just going to stay away from tack packs from now on, not worth risking a reroll to me

Makes me wary too now, I'm not convinced it isn't some sort of bug
