So one of my favourite stud was put up for live covers, and yes, I went ham. Amgr put hom dp on him, but in this round of breedings I noticed that I was getting hom sooty chestnuts every so often, and some bays that didn't look like they have dp. Which shouldn't happen with one of the parents being hom dp.

He is het not hom.

How do you know? The guide says DP isn't shown when testing.

@Tiranym also, we know that by default hidden gates are Het dp and amgr didn't add an extra copy, so he is only Het. :)

If she had added during RGS sales, those don't always (never?) create tattoos. See, for example, the Wrong Warp, which we know was added, but doesn't have a tattoo.

But in this case, the horses is labeled as Het dp in the owner notes and Ammitt is Word of Goddess.

It was labeled as hom dp as Amgr thought that their bf added it on for them, in addition with other genes that make this stallion special. It was a stressful time though, so seems like it fell through the cracks and, as magesvalley pointed out, you don't get gmt tattoos from the RGS. Still my favourite stallion, despite confirming that he is het dp
