    I was searching for horses in the auction to get an idea of what is being offered and noticed that some horses already have a bid higher than the starting 2500, is this a glitch or something else?

    Also, is there a way to search horses that have already been auctioned, to get an idea of perceived market value of certain HH's/genes?

    If you open the Public Auction House tab there is a menu bar close to top with an option to see Last Weeks Sales. :)

    And any horse over the age of 10y that is worth more than 2500 will start auction at the value they are worth. If the value is less then 2500 then the 10y+ horses will start at 2500 with the rest of the horses under 10y.

    By "worth" Looper is referring to a horses Lifetime Payout. At 10 years or older, if the lifetime payout of a horse is larger than 2500 it'll get a bid by the game equal to it's lifetime payout. If the total payout is under 2500, then it'll just get a 2500 bid by the game.

    Eg:
    A horse is older than 10 years and has a lifetime payout of 9567hbs. It is entered in auction and the first bid for it is 9567hbs.
    A horse is older than 10 years and has a lifetime payout of 1555hbs. It is entered in auction and the first bid for it is 2500hbs.
    A horse is 9 years old and has a lifetime payout of 9k. It is entered in auction for 2500 hbs.
