I bought a horse and in the process of buying his foal so i can do gmt work. But some already have babies. Will i have to buy back the grandchildren as well inorder to gmt?

Yes, all progeny, grand, great grand or however many gens go have to be culled for you to GMT.

If a 2g foal that only receives 1 of the special gene of mushroom have a 2nd copy added to it?

@wendolyne Mushroom cannot be added to lined horses that miss it. If it isn't available in the lab, it can't be added.
