Maybe I just keep seeing horses with too many modifying genes, but it seems like mushroom doesn't do much of anything to bays -

I had Mushroom added to my bay brindle thats now WTC. She seemed darker but not much, She was also het.

I believe mushroom works best with red in horses so the more black the horse has the less the mushroom will show.

Someone will come along to explain it better. :)

Mushroom effects bay slightly.

The roan sort of hides the effect but it is slightly lighter when compared to a regular bay roan

My bay mare was a Brindle Breakout so I also couldn’t tell.
