You're lucky! It's a sea pony. They can be traded in for a gene mod token or sold for lots of game cash if you want. :)

You can use gene mod tokens to add genes to any unbred, under 4 year old foundation horse. The amount of tokens it costs depends on which genes you want to add. You can also modify lined horses to give them any genes they missed from their parents. That only costs 1 token regardless of the price of the gene otherwise.

If I breed her will she produce like a normal horse or will she make more sea ponies? I feel like a gene mod token would be wasted on me as I have no set goals yet and I’m just learning the ropes so maybe I should sell her..?

The fish tail is not genetic at all, in the programming it is actually a tack item as you can see under the tack tab on her page. So sadly they cannot throw sea ponies. :(

It does take a lot of tokens if you want to do any serious gene modifying, so you could either turn her in and save the token for later, or sell her if you'd rather have the hbs now. I always sell my sea ponies since it just seems like it would take forever to save up enough tokens to get anything big. (Though I suppose if I had saved all of them over the years I would have enough by now...)

If you want to sell her, she's worth 250,000hbs since it takes 12,500hbs to buy one IV and 20 IVs to buy one gene mod token on the upgrades page. I usually undercut that a little bit, but I'm sure you won't have trouble selling her if that's what you want! :)

@CLynnRose, you can actually modify horses of any age now! :D Ammit changed it a while back. :) So now they just need gene testing and to be unbred.
