I cant be 100 percent positive but she seems darker than Cheers' who is homozygous sooty and your mare is only het for sooty

@jezmynespice1 and @moon. DP as far as I know does not affect Black horses. These guys are black champagnes, so I don't think DP would make them darker...

However, I do agree Jezmynes girl is abnormally dark, especially since I've taken the dun dilution off my girl and Jez hasn't!

Removing the dun made her darker. Dun is a dilution gene.

@Ammit, Jezmyne has not removed dun from hers yet she appears nearly as dark as mine who has had dun removed. Jez's mare is the one who we think is abnormally dark.

Her horse is not any darker at all. It's the tack and shiny spray looking like that. Her horse looks identical otherwise.
